Nepal peace process

KATHMANDU, MAY 03 - Former Prime Minister and Senior CPN-UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the situation of the country has improved with the parties inching closer to consensus.
The UML leader said the political environment had worsened after the political parties started interpreting the informal agreement to form the national consensus government under the leadership of Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai on their own. He said the situation, however, has limped back to normalcy.
“The environment was getting worse. But now it is improving,” said UML leader Nepal, talking briefly to media persons at Constituent Assembly building on Thursday.
